Christmas Gift Wrap has become a Holiday Hobby I really enjoy! Do you enjoy wrapping gifts at Christmas time? I love to wrap when I have time to do it before its a last minute frenzy-to-finish.
My favorite Christmas Gift Wrap Setting is when the kids are at school, and I have the house to myself. I get full control of the TV remote, and I can have wrapping paper, twines, boxes, pines, spread out over the living room floor and no one is going to trample them..
Except maybe this guy:
Biscuit, our Goldendoodle.
This year I decided on a Natural Theme for our Christmas gift wrap.
Then, I used 4 steps to to complete this Natural Themed Christmas Gift Wrap.
#1 Christmas Gift Wrap: Wrapping Paper
Kraft paper, solid white, solid black, kraft paper with white Christmas trees, and a really fun white paper with black reindeer head silhouettes. They all look so cute together.
#2 Christmas Gift Wrap: Twines
Forest Green twine, natural twine, white twine. Bakers twines: red & white, black & white, forest green & white, tan & white.
#3 Christmas Gift Wrap: Gift tags
I had so much fun designing and printing my Christmas gift tags. I used Canva, which has so many options! But you could totally just use cool fonts and print from Word or anywhere! If you want to dabble into Canva, you can get 30 days free with my link: 30 Days of Free Canva
I printed my Canva designs onto Tan & White cardstock with all black ink. Printed tags in all different sizes. Love the variation & oversized ones on large gifts are super cute too!
#4 Christmas Gift Wrap: Embellishments
Extra mini ornaments (neutral colors), Fresh pine sprigs, leftover Christmas pics, pinecones, spray painted acorns… Any extra little Christmas trinket adds so much to the look and feel of Christmas Gift Wrap!
And of course it is so frustrating to run out of, or not be able to find- scissors & tape! I’ve been down that road before, so I make sure to have about 10 of each on hand before I start on my Christmas Gift Wrap, lol.
Kids are little tape & scissors thieves… These items have a way of disappearing, only to be found supporting all their latest artworks to their walls & furniture, or making toys into swords. At least these kiddos are creative, I’ve got to give them that.
I just love how the nicely wrapped gifts add to the ambiance under the tree!
I have gotten almost all of our gifts done ahead of time this year, but it never fails that there will be some last minute ones crumpled together with wrapping paper & tape!
